Betawi Food Festival will Be Held at Grand Cempaka Hotel

Betawi Food Festival is one of the business units from PT. Jakarta Tourisindo (Jaktour) will be held at Grand Cempaka Hotel. 

This event is one of the real efforts to support Jakarta Provincial Government in preserving Betawi culture

Grand Cempaka Hotel's General Manager, Mulyanis Putra said, Betawi Food Festival will be held on Tuesday (8/8). 

Modern Gambang Kromong will Be Performed in Lebaran Betawi

"This event is one of the real efforts to support Jakarta Provincial Government in preserving Betawi culture," he said, Saturday (8/5).

He explained, Betawi culinary will be served in this event are as asinan Jakarta, rujak juhi, laksa Betawi, kembang goyang, putu mayang, and gabus pucung.

"We will also serve sayur babanci, since this kind of food is getting hard to find. Then, of course we will serve Betawi typical beverage, bir pletok," he mentioned.

He added, hotel visitors will be welcomed with various Betawi ornaments and icons.

"As a part of Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD)s, we are committed to implement Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 4/2015 about Betawi Culture Preservation and Governor Regulation (Pergub) No.11/2017 about Betawi Cultural Icons," he closed.
